TradingView has a free Basic plan and four paid tiers. The difference is mostly limits: charts per tab, indicators per chart, and how many alerts you can run. Below is every number from TradingView’s own pricing page on October 27, 2026.
Short version: casual chart-watchers can stay on Basic or try Essential. If you run alerts that feed a trading bot, Premium (400 price and 400 technical alerts, 8 charts per tab) is the usual sweet spot; Ultimate is for heavy multi-monitor use. Premium also had the best value in last year’s Black Friday sale, so see our Black Friday tracker before paying full price.

Which plan fits you
- Essential: 2 charts per tab and 5 indicators per chart. Fine for one or two setups and a few alerts, and it removes ads.
- Plus: 4 charts per tab, 10 indicators, 100 alerts. A good step up if you hit Essential’s alert cap.
- Premium: 8 charts, 25 indicators, 400 price and 400 technical alerts, and all minute-level Bar Replay history. Best for running many alerts, for example into a webhook bridge like these TradingView automation bots.
- Ultimate: 16 charts, 50 indicators, 1,000 alerts, 40K bars, and the only plan available to professional users (TradingView says so on its pricing page).
Billing, refunds and upgrades
- Cancel anytime: it won’t auto-renew after the paid term, and paid service stays active until then.
- Refunds: annual plans only, requested within 14 calendar days of payment. None for monthly plans, upgrades or market data.
- Upgrading an annual plan: no extra transaction; remaining days convert into equivalent value on the new tier.
- Downgrading: your current plan stays until its date, then the cheaper plan starts.
- Payment: major cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and crypto (website). Real-time exchange data (NASDAQ, NYSE, CME and others) costs extra and needs a paid plan or trial.
Waiting for a sale
TradingView has run big Black Friday sales three years in a row. Nothing is announced for 2026 yet; Black Friday is November 27. If you can wait a month, check our deal tracker. If you’re building a bot, pair your plan with a bridge: TradersPost vs PickMyTrade.
